I have always been immersed in the world of technology and media; I studied computer science, and worked practically with audio engineering, video production, 3D modelling, and web design concepts. My educational background in sociology and public administration have helped to ground my perceptions of these technologies in how they affect individuals and societies. I firmly believe that education is one of the largest factors in reducing socio-economic inequality and after working in higher education feel that technology is currently misused in many classroom contexts. Contemporary Instruction is an attempt to learn more about the ways in which society, technology, and education intersect and to document my own learning progress.
